Justin Bar Graph loves math challenges. He says he can solve any problem that Jack Addition gives him. Jack is determind to find a tough one and come across the following problem (involving addition naturally): "How many addition signs should be put between the digits of the number 987654321 and where should they go to get a sum of 99?" Jack thinks they should estimate and Justin wants to try the guess and check method. Can you help them solve this problem?

Test Taking Tactics!


Our Chapter 7 Test is approaching...How will you prepare for it? Do you have to study for math in a different way than the other subjects? What length of time is needed to prepare? How will you know when you are ready to take the test?

During today's math multiplication lesson, we realized that many of us were ending up with different products when multiplying three digit numbers. Where did you find your mistake(s)?
