Finding Focus

As we begin our differentiated review session you were asked to choose the lesson from Chapter 7 that you felt you needed to practice the most. Which lesson did you choose and why? How did you decide that this was the area needing improvement? Do you think that will make a difference on the test? Do you make these choices when studying for tests in other subjects also?

Lesson 7.1 Patterns with Multiples

Lesson 7.2 Multiplying by 1-Digit Numbers

Lesson 7.3 Multiplying by 2-Digit Numbers

Lesson 7.4 Choose a Method-Multiplying by 3-Digit Numbers

i think i am pritty good with all them but what i seamed to forget was that once you started to multiply in the ten and hundreds you would have to remember your place holder(0). So now i am trying to remember that i haveto do that!

  2. Place holders can be easy to forget! Remember the trick you learned in fourth grade: Slash (the carried numbers) and Slap (on the placeholder)!
