Mrs. Colcord had a pizza party in her math class with her twenty-one students. She ordered five large pizzas that are each divided into eighths. How many pieces of pizza would each person get?
each student would get 1.9 slices of pizza.

i first multiplied 8 times 5 and got 40. so i then divided 40 and 21 and got 1.9 and i had to put the decamal point down because well for this problem you would not just have 19 still in the box. So you put it into decamal form. (.)

correction counting mrs colcord seventeen studentd and mrs colcord would get two slices while four students would only get one.
ReplyDeleteMy Work: i first took twenty two away from fortey and got 18. witch meens 18 more people can have two stices but because mrs. colcord is so nice she gets two!
