Katelyn Kilograms, Madison Multiplication and Kelcie Kilometers are going for a long walk together to get to the beach. It takes one hour for them to get to the beach from Katelyn's house. They walk for ten minutes and then stop to buy soda. After walking another fifteen minutes, they stop for ice cream cones. In another fifteen minutes they stop to pick up Megan Millimeters. What fraction of the trip had they completed when they stopped to pick up Megan?

Shannon Sphere is a terrific baker! Her specialty is making pies. Her classmate, Troy Technology, decides to capitalize on this talent and asks her to start a baking business with him. Their first venture is making and selling pieces of blueberry pie. So Shannon makes nine blueberry pies cut into fourths. Troy decides each piece will sell for $1.50. How much money could Shannon and Troy make if they sold all of the pies?
